The wait is over! After a testing phase filled with invaluable player feedback, we are thrilled to announce that the new Guild Battlegrounds Trials are now officially live for all players. This feature represents a massive evolution for Guild Battlegrounds, designed to give you more strategic control, more meaningful rewards, and more respect for your time on the battlefield.

When we first announced this feature on our blog, our goal was to start a conversation. Your participation during the beta phase was instrumental in helping us refine the system. Now, as we launch it to the world, we want to be transparent about the journey and the reasoning behind some key design decisions that were shaped by your feedback.

Understanding the new Guild Battlegrounds Trials

During the beta, you raised some excellent points about how the feature would impact gameplay. We want to address those topics directly, so you understand the “why” behind the mechanics you’re now experiencing.

Personal Choice vs. Guild Strategy

A top concern was that individual Trial choices might conflict with the guild’s overall performance. We see this as a new, dynamic layer of strategy rather than a conflict. In fact, you already make a daily decision about how many fights you have the time and resources for. The Trials system simply adds a clear risk-versus-reward mechanic to that existing choice. Consequently, on days when you face tough opponents, your guild’s strategy might be for members to choose lower Trials to secure more advances. Conversely, against weaker opponents, it’s the perfect time to push for higher Trials and maximize your personal rewards. This daily flexibility is key.

Reward Balancing and the Power of Choice

Many players were concerned about earning fewer rewards. Our goal is for you to earn the same, if not better, rewards than before. Our balancing is based on data suggesting that an advanced player can handle around Trial 35, where the coin income should feel equivalent to the previous system. However, there is immense value even at lower Trial levels. The ability to directly choose the rewards you care about is a significant benefit, even if it means a trade-off in the total quantity of items.

Specifically on the topic of Diamonds, if you choose to prioritize them in the new stores, you should be able to earn the same or even more than before. We believe this system will be especially profitable for players in the lower- to mid-segment of participation.

Store Logic: Selection Kits vs. Fragments

Finally, we noted your feedback on the stores offering full Selection Kits while Championship buildings produce fragments for upgrade kits. This is intended for game balance. Championship buildings are incredibly powerful, and having them produce fragments for full Selection Kits would make them too strong. However, we are listening. We may consider adding upgrade kits to the store in the future, but first, we need to observe how the system performs on the live servers.

Our Path Forward and Your Voice

Introducing a feature of this scale is a huge step, and we are confident it will offer a more engaging and sustainable experience in the long run. The live servers are the ultimate test, and we will be monitoring player behavior and the game’s economy very closely to see if any further adjustments are needed.

Your voice remains the most important part of this process. We invite you to continue the conversation, share your strategies, and provide your feedback on our official Discord server.
