We are introducing the Elvenar Guardians, coming to all Live markets next week, on October 21st! Furthermore, these mystical entities will revolutionize gameplay by offering new avenues for growth and adventure. Let’s explore what makes these Guardians so special and how they will redefine your journey.
Discovering the Guardians
Before scribes etched the first chronicles in runestone or parchment, the world’s raw essence stirred. It fashioned itself into beings known as the Guardians. These entities were neither truly mortal nor divine. Instead, they served as embodiments of the land’s oldest forces: growth, protection, wisdom, and change. Upon completing their initial purpose—whether a triumph or a warning remains unclear—the Guardians turned inward. They allowed the ages to flow around them, sinking into a silence deeper than memory. Over time, the peaks of mountains became their bones, ancient groves their breath, and caverns their dreaming hearts. Consequently, to most, they became little more than a whisper of wind through forgotten places.
Introducing Naturion, The Awakened
Naturion, the Awakened, lies hidden within the primeval forests. His spirit threads itself through every root and branch, a quiet pulse of life that predates any known kingdom. Travelers unknowingly traverse his moss-soft domain. Each step they take is on the edge of a slumbering will. Awakening such a being is no small feat. Indeed, it challenges the patience of ages. Ancient rites speak of offerings crafted to resonate with the Guardian’s essence—tokens shaped by steady hands and tributes that hum with living power. The ritual is slow and demanding, as the dreams of the earth are not easily broken. When a Guardian finally answers the call, it does not emerge in its full majesty. Instead, it appears in a nascent form, a tender embodiment of the force it represents.
Central to this awakening is the Guardians’ Effigy. This sacred emblem is forged from echoes of the very power that shaped these beings. Presenting an Effigy is not a mere tribute. Rather, it serves as the spark that nourishes their growth. Each Effigy carries a fragment of the Guardian’s essence. With every offering, the young spirit swells in strength. It grows from a fledgling to its prime power, and finally, it assumes the venerable mantle of an elder.
As Naturion reaches his full awakening, the land itself seems to take a deeper breath. Subsequently, fields burst with abundance, stores overflow, and spring’s renewal lingers far beyond its usual season. Such bounty is no simple magic but the principle of growth manifest. Naturion is only one of many. Across the hidden places of the world, other Guardians rest in timeless quiet, each bearing gifts and perils as old as the soil itself. To awaken them is to court ancient power and navigate the delicate line between reverence and reckoning.
Guardian Gameplay Mechanics
Guardians bring a new layer of strategy and excitement to Elvenar. They are collectible, upgradable, and activatable entities. Each Guardian offers unique benefits that enhance various aspects of gameplay. They reside in the mystical Guardians Grove near the Spire of Eternity, where all who wish to summon them can access it. We will introduce Guardians as event rewards, with Naturion leading the way. Others will surely follow. To upgrade these mystical beings, you will use Effigies. Players can acquire these items through Events, the Spire, or Crafting.
The Powers of Naturion
Naturion, the Awakened, offers significant enhancements as he evolves through different stages:
- Stages 1 to 9: Crafting Time Reduction ranging from 10% to 32%.
- Stages 10 to 14: Crafting Time Reduction increases to 35%-47%. In addition, you gain a chance (15%-55%) to double rewards from encounters and provinces. Expansions are not included.
- Stage 15 (max): A 50% Crafting Time Reduction, a 65% chance to double encounter rewards, and a 2% increase in Event Currency from quests.
Upon reaching his full awakening, Naturion’s influence will breathe life into your fields, overflow your storages, and extend Spring’s bounty well beyond its season.
